Tourbillon is an Advanced Spell learnt optionally by Erroll de Wardes in each playable appearance. It inflicts percentage-based damage elementally-identical to that of the Magic of Life and the Magic of Flowers, but will become non-elemental if used against enemies that would normally resist or absorb it.

Rather than having different castings, Tourbillon may be controlled for a brief period of time. Before inflicting damage, the whirlwind it produces may be used to lift enemies off the ground and spin them about for a brief span.

  • One of few spells that retains the same name in both French and English, a Tourbillon is a mechanism that counters the effects of gravity on clockwork watches, which the Irniais are often seen to carry, as well as simply the French word for whirlwind, making it something of a pun referencing Erroll's fondness for clockwork and the Magic of Flowers, which holds control of wind.
